The doors to Rho Fiera are open for EICMA in Milan, bringing together riders, builders, and enthusiasts from all over the world. For those of us from Mandello del Lario, this year’s show is a defining moment. It is an honest look at where Moto Guzzi is heading next, backed by a major modernization of our historic lakeside factory.
Honoring the timeless Italian design that defined our past, we look forward to building the versatile, accessible motorcycles needed for the roads of tomorrow. So come see the future, in EICMA.
Moto Guzzi's Mandello Factory
The motorcycling world is shifting. Riders are looking for a different balance today, navigating busy urban spaces, adapting to changing licensing rules, and demanding better efficiency without losing the soul of the machine.
Our answer to these changes starts at home. The ongoing upgrades to our Mandello factory are giving our teams the tools to build a broader, more versatile range of bikes. We are investing in production methods that protect the hand-assembled character we are known for, while allowing us to innovate faster. From our long-distance tourers to our lightweight machinery, our display this year showcases a brand that is actively moving forward.
The Launch of The Trip 500
The biggest talking point on our stand this year represents a deliberate new direction for us. We have officially pulled the wraps off The Trip 500, a lightweight roadster built to introduce a completely new generation of riders to the Moto Guzzi family.
To build a bike that is truly agile, compact, and easy to handle every day, we chose a liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. By working closely with our partners within the Piaggio Group and leveraging a proven mid-capacity engine platform, we have delivered a responsive, highly efficient machine that makes premium Italian engineering accessible to more people.
With its stripped-back styling, a friendly 180 kg kerb weight, and a low 790 mm seat height, The Trip 500 takes the intimidation out of riding. It is simple, fun, and built for the city, wrapped around a sculptured 15-litre tank that carries our classic design lines into a new era.
Come Visit Us in Milan
The diversity of the bikes on our stand proves that a brand can evolve without losing its identity. Innovation and heritage can live together under the sign of the eagle.
The Trip 500 and our updated model range are waiting for you in Hall 9. You can see the new roadster in person across its three production finishes:
Black Metropolis
Green Grove
Red Beat
alongside a limited introductory model called "The Opening", with details set to come fourth soon (you can think of it as a surprise).
Production bikes will begin arriving in the global dealer network in early 2027 (subject to change). Whether you have been riding a Guzzi for decades or are thinking about swinging a leg over your very first motorcycle, come say hello in Milan and see where we are heading next.
